Terms of Service

Northvex Solutions LLC is a professional services firm. We work remotely for clients in the United States and Canada, and we make no site visits.

Our construction services are estimating and quantity takeoff across all CSI divisions, BIM modelling, engineering support, shop drawings, plan review and bid support. Our digital services for contractors are web design, SEO, Google Ads, social media and branding.

Everything we sell is delivered as digital files. Depending on the engagement, you receive one or more of the following.

Before any work begins, we issue a written fee and a written delivery date for the engagement.

Work starts when we have your written acceptance of that quote and have received the deposit. Nothing is started on a verbal instruction alone.

Each project is quoted in advance as a fixed fee. A retained monthly estimator arrangement is available on request.

All fees are in US dollars. The currency is stated in full on every quote and invoice.

Payment is in two parts: 50 percent of the fee as a deposit on acceptance, and the remaining 50 percent on delivery.

We accept payment by Zelle and Wise. Card payment through Stripe will be offered once it is live.

Deliverables are sent as digital files by email or by a shared link. We make no physical deliveries.

Turnaround is stated on each quote. It depends on the size of the document set and the scope of the work.

To deliver on the quoted date, we need the following from you.

If we make an error in a deliverable, we correct it at no charge.

Two rounds of revisions requested by you, within the original scope, are included in the fee. Changes to the scope are re-quoted.

If an addendum or a scope change is issued after work has started, we treat it as a change. We issue a separate quote for the change, and it proceeds on your written acceptance of that quote.

You own the delivered files for your own use on the project they were prepared for.

Northvex retains its templates, methods, workbook structure and tooling. These are not transferred with the deliverable.

Drawings and documents you supply remain the property of you and your engineer.

Your documents are used only to deliver the engagement. They are not published, and they are not shared with third parties beyond the providers listed in our privacy policy.

Anonymised project descriptions may appear on our site. They carry no client name, no project address and no project value.

An estimate we prepare is an opinion of probable cost. It is based on the documents you supplied and on the assumptions stated in the deliverable.

An estimate is not a guarantee of actual cost, of the outcome of a bid, or of the prices a contractor or supplier will offer. You remain responsible for your own bid.

We state no percentage accuracy for any estimate or takeoff.

Shop drawings we prepare are produced from the engineer's contract documents. They translate the design into fabrication information.

A submittal we prepare provides no structural design. The engineer of record retains responsibility for the design.

The limits of our role are as follows.

Our liability for any engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement.

We accept no liability for consequential loss, for lost bids, or for lost profit.

If a disagreement arises about an engagement, both sides first try to resolve it through good faith negotiation.

When we change these terms, the updated version is posted on this site together with the effective date of the change.
